What are you looking forward to?
I’ve woken up really excited because I’m looking forward to doing something new today! It’s actually something I try and do every month: to try something different and new. So I’m heading up the mountain today to do a workshop… I’m going to learn how to weave a basket!
Just as an aside, if you haven’t checked out Perfect Pear Workshops, and you’re in the Gippsland or Melbourne area you really must! Lil runs them from her gorgeous property in Packenham Upper. It’s a must see, must do.
Anyway, it got me thinking how incredibly grateful I am for that aspect of my life and being able to do those sorts of things. And I realised, it’s actually no accident. It’s something I’ve been deliberately working on for over 10 years. Probably closer to 15 years.
That is, trying to live more deliberately.
To do the things that are important to me and make me happy.
To ensure I’m making time for those things and not getting swept up into the world’s message of busy meaning important or productive. Rather, actually deciding for myself what I want my life to look like.
And so I was just reflecting on these opportunities that I’ve made for myself and I was thinking about how different my life was back then and all the little things I’ve done to change it for the better.
And along with the pilot program I’ve been doing this last month, (helping people align their actions with their goals and the outcomes they want for their life) I’ve realised the incredible importance of values.
The ONE thing you’ve got to get clear on in order to live a life you love.
I’ve come to realise that values are everything. They guide everything I do. They are the key to living a more rewarding life.
But values are not something you’re necessarily taught in school. And you may not know a lot about them unless you’ve done a course through work or you’re specifically interested in that sort of thing.
And so it’s something I’ve been thinking about doing… Helping people figure out what they want for their life. What is actually important to them. And how, once you know that, you can use it to guide all your decision-making and live a more enjoyable life.
So if that’s something you’re interested in getting more clarity around, then let me know. Either comment below or send me a direct message, because I’m thinking about putting together a very simple little workshop or challenge where I could take you through the process that I’ve done and help you get clear on questions like:
- What do I actually want with my life?
- What actually would make me happy?
- What actually is important to me?
It won’t be anything onerous and it won’t take you a lot of time because, for one thing, I don’t have a lot of time to put it together! I haven’t even thought what it would be exactly, but I think that’s why I can’t sleep. I’m so excited with all the ideas that are starting to come to me because I just think this is so incredibly important…That people start to live with more intention and design the life they want and stop waiting.
- Waiting for it to just happen
- Waiting to have more time
- Waiting for something else to happen until you make a change
Because you don’t have anything except now.
So, what are you looking forward to? Are you clear?
Because if you’re not, I could put something together that would help you figure out with more clarity, what it is you want for your life and what sort of things would make you happy.
Or maybe you already know.
But it’s one thing to know and it’s another thing to do something about it and start doing it now.
I’ll probably start to do it for the members that I’m already working with, so I could easily help a few more people too.
So if you’d like help to get clear on:
- what you want for your life
- what sort of things would make you happy
- how to stop doing the things that aren’t bringing you joy anymore
and instead make time for the things that you know would bring you joy (or even just the things you think would) I want to hear from you.
I’m on a mission to help you get clear on what you want for your life, get clear on what your values are and show you how to use that as your compass to guide the decisions that you make from here on in.

Because I know what I’m doing today (heading up the mountain to do this workshop) ticks so many of my boxes in terms of what makes me happy, what I value and what’s important to me. And I think that’s what I’m so excited about.
Because doing this today is totally in alignment with what matters to me.
And I’m really excited about possibly being able to help more people do this process and live this way because it’s just so freeing.
So tell me… what are you looking forward to?
